We purchased this property, located in a suburban area where office space is growing, and facilitated improvements to the courtyard, parking area and riverfront. We also organized the property’s development system, working effectively with competing interest groups like the historic commission, city officials, lenders, investors and tenants. Over $30 million in public monies was spent on high-grade improvements to surrounding buildings and landscapes and further plans include a riverwalk/jogging route that originates at the property and a $500,000 budget for courtyard improvements. After creating a pre-packaged, turnkey development project, we sold the property in July 1998.
