We bought this industrial building in shell condition and fully renovated the property into a loft-style condominium complex, taking advantage of the property’s premier location in Fort Point Channel, adjacent to the Financial District. The building was attractive to both Boston artists and the urban chic because of its convenient access to downtown and the abundance of industrial buildings that were suitable for home or office loft use. After completely renovating the property, we sold all the condominium units by April, 1997.
